Our educational system must prepare, inspire, and empower students so that they can have the opportunity to contribute to society's progress. Today's students will expand the horizons of knowledge and creativity, contributing to new ideas and discovering solutions to the many challenges we face in the 21st Century.  Our schools' mission today is more important than ever. Success is our only option, for our students' and all of society's future.

About Us

Welcome to the Ed Tech Action Network, your direct line to Washington.

Now more than ever, Washington needs to hear what you have to say. Support for ed tech is in peril at all levels of government. Important federal programs that fund education technology, including technology training for teachers, hardware and software acquisition, and infrastructure development, stand at the brink of elimination because of limited federal funds and numerous state budget crises. More importantly, many policy experts have not yet grasped the power of education technology to transform learning nor its ability to help ensure that all students achieve and all teachers are of high quality. Through the Ed Tech Action Network, you can tell policymakers in Washington, and in your state capitols, that education technology is vital to fulfilling the mandates of the No Child Left Behind Act and that ed tech programs merit federal funding.

The Ed Tech Action Network is designed to provide you with the tools and training you need to be a powerful advocate for improved technology learning and teaching at the local, state, and federal levels. Network members can:

  • Access a state-of-the-art grassroots website and online community;
  • Receive regular federal legislative updates;
  • Participate in state network activities;
  • Attend training and tutorial sessions; and
  • Establish effective communications with legislators and other key decision-makers.

Join this dynamic network and have your voice heard!
